Please RSVP Now: Money Management Monday
Have a better relationship with your money with Rebel Finance School
Money has always been a source of stress for me.
My dad’s experience with the stock market during the IT bust in India scarred me. I rarely lend money, I am terrified of being in debt and I am anxious about having enough for retirement.
Recently, I learned about Alan and Katie Donegan from Rebel Finance School and their free 10-week course designed to provide comprehensive financial education, covering topics such as budgeting, investing, and achieving financial independence.
Alan and Katie, who achieved financial independence themselves in 2019, created this program to help others take control of their finances without any hidden agendas or sales pitches.

A Different Financial View
I’ve used financial literacy courses before and I can tell you they are dull, mainly because the people teaching them are professors and not ordinary people like Alan and Katie. And that’s what makes them special.
I started with watching recorded episodes from their 2024 edition. From the very first one titled ‘Mind the Gap’ I was hooked. They were funny, relatable and talked to me, not down to me.
Throughout the course, I learned practical skills like tracking expenses, understanding investment options, and setting financial goals. More importantly, I developed a healthier mindset towards money, viewing it as a tool to create the life I wanted to live.
I got my husband into it and now he’s obsessed too.
One of the unique aspects of the Rebel Finance School is its emphasis on community which is exactly what our group, Career Pivot is all about. The course attracts a global audience, fostering a supportive environment where participants can share experiences and learn from each other. I am sure however, that I was the only person from Zambia last year.
Their programs are always free and they never try to sell you anything.
Every year, they update the content and launch a new edition of the course, all with a simple commitment to sharing the knowledge they have gained themselves.
In 2024 they received the British Empire Medal for their contributions to Financial Education in the King's Birthday Honours List.
