Life on the job hunt can feel pretty lonely. You're grinding away, often by yourself, and it's easy to get lost in your own head. To shake things up and help us all connect, we're kicking off a new series.

Our goal? To showcase opportunities for in-person connection. We’ll be highlighting events from all over the world, covering a range of topics and themes.

Now, here’s the thing: since we’re based in the DC area, it’s easy for us to miss cool events happening elsewhere. But that’s where you come in! Our community spans all 50 states and over two dozen countries.

Hey DC Area Folks! Thinking Water?

Global Community Day at Meridian Hill Park

Looking for a relaxing afternoon in the park? Then come join the Career Pivot team at the Global Community Day OneAid is hosting. It’s happening on Saturday, September 13th, from 3–8 PM at Meridian Hill/Malcolm X Park in Washington, DC.

Here's what OneAid has to say about it:

“Come together to celebrate our U.S. international assistance community, stand in solidarity, and create hope for the future. This is a day to recognize our neighbors for their valuable service on behalf of the American people, and to acknowledge the local economic and social impacts of job losses.

Spend the afternoon on picnic blankets with friends and family, visit tables with community resources, hear from guest speakers, and enjoy a local DJ set!”

Navigate Your Next Move Retreat
